The gardens of HC-One’s Crofton Springs Care Home, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, came alive with giggles and creativity as six children from Little Pips Nursery took part in an unforgettable Easter bonnet competition.
The event, filled with vibrant crafts and egg-hunting excitement, left everyone beaming – and the residents were faced with the challenge of choosing a single winner. The morning kicked off with the children crafting their unique Easter bonnets, each a masterpiece of colour and imagination.
From fluffy chicks to glittering eggs, the creations sparkled with personality. The fun continued as the little ones dove into Easter-themed arts and crafts, filling the air with laughter and creativity.
The children, armed with Easter baskets, subsequently embarked on an egg-citing adventure, scouring the Crofton Springs garden for a whopping 72 hidden Easter eggs. Guided by Sophie, Crofton Springs Senior Carer, and the dedicated Little Pips staff, the young hunters left no stone unturned.
“Best day ever!” exclaimed two of the children, their faces glowing with joy. Faced with such incredible bonnet designs, the residents could not pick just one winner. Every child was declared a champion, receiving medals and trophies to celebrate their creativity and spirit.
