Admirals Reach care home in Chelmsford, Essex, are celebrating success after Residents and Relatives voted them as one of the Top 20 recommended care homes in the East of England in the carehome.co.uk awards 2022.
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, holds its annual Care Home Awards to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. These are based on individual review scores that carehome.co.uk have received from Residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the home.
Admirals Reach received an overall rating of 10/10 based on independent reviews, in recognition of the high standards of care provided at the home – which provides residential, nursing and nursing dementia services for the local community. The 128-bed home also received a recent inspection which was rated as SAFE.
Located in a quiet residential area, this friendly care home is known for its excellence in care, delicious food and incredibly friendly staff who are always there to deliver high standards of care to Residents, and support Relatives in all aspects of the journey. The home also provides a wide range of different facilities and features for Residents to benefit from, including a hair salon, regular coffee mornings, a wellbeing programme and sensory room.

“My mother has been in Nelson House for nearly two years. I can say all the staff are kind, patient and caring. Mum always enjoyed the food and chats with staff. Room was clean. In the last days of Mum's life, all staff went above and beyond for not just Mum but family as well. The staff here are heroes.”
