HC-One’s Kirkwood Court Care Home in Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne organised a wine and cheese night on the 17th May for the Residents and their families.
Residents and their families gathered together in the top floor lounge where they had glasses of red and white wine, sherry, port and fruit juices.
Different cheeses with a selection of crackers and pickles were laid out for everyone to try and music including Glenn Miller and Ella Fitzgerald served as the soundtrack for the event.
Residents had a great time mingling and chatting, using the opportunity to get to know Residents from other floors a little better, commenting:
“It was a great evening and was good to have a drink. It was also nice to have the opportunity to socialise together; I didn’t want the evening to end!”
