As part of the Action for Alzheimer’s Week, Silverwood care home in Rotherham had a fund raising quiz for Colleagues, relatives and Residents. 13 people attended making up three teams and it was a battle as everyone showed off how good their general knowledge was!
Everyone had a lovely time and enjoyed the refreshments provided alongside the quiz.
The home raised £46 with the quiz and a small raffle and the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
The winning team were the Maltby Millers who won a bottle of wine.
Home manager Carrie Davies was the Quiz Master and she was helped by Yvonne one of the Residents who gave subtle hints to the team!
Home Manager, Carrie commented:
