Chandlers Ford celebrates Holi festivalResidents HC-One’s Chandlers Ford Care Home celebrated the Hindu spring festival, Holi on Friday 2nd March.

Holi, also known as the "festival of colours", is a Hindu spring festival celebrated all across India and Nepal. It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.

To celebrate Holi, Residents at Chandlers Ford participated in a colour therapy session where they used different tools and a rainbow of colours to create beautiful and unique pieces of art.

Residents enjoyed the celebration and admired their own and each other’s creations.

Chandlers Ford is dedicated to the wellbeing of residents and encourages the participation of hobbies and interests, taking an active role in helping individuals to retain a connection to the local community.
