Celebrations and Christmas crafts, this month at Tower BridgeAt Tower Bridge care home, in Southwark, London, they have certainly had a lot to get excited and celebrate. Not only are we leading up to the festive Christmas season but also one Resident who lives at Tower Bridge celebrated turning 102 today!

The Resident had Colleagues singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her, as well as being showered with balloons, banners and of course a lovely red velvet cake. The Resident’s son also visited, much to her delight. Which she was very pleased with stating, “How lovely” her birthday was, see pictured centre.

Also, at the home, five Residents have been taking part in Christmas arts and crafts with colourful sequins they joined in and had some great fun! The Residents enjoyed some hot drinks and biscuits in between the activity and some even placed the finished decorations in their rooms. One said, “This was fun, I enjoyed doing this activity.”

Another Resident added, “I like my funny looking Santa, he’s a masterpiece!”

Christen SanPedro, Home Manager, said, “There has certainly been a lot going in at Tower Bridge and we love celebrations and getting festive.”
