Celebration party for ‘Green Fingered’ ResidentThe team at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor Care Home in Falkirk organised a party for Resident Jack Stewart after he was highly commended in the garden competition for ‘Green Fingered Resident’.

Jack had planted and grown tomato plants during the summer and he tended to the plants, which were in the garden’s greenhouse, assisted by Carer Brian Connolly.

To celebrate Jack’s award, a party was held at Kinnaird Manor to present him with his certificate and prize. Gary at Musical Minds provided the entertainment and Jack’s wife Isobel and daughter Fiona joined the celebrations along with other Residents and staff.

The Residents were all so pleased for Jack and loved Gary’s performance.

Jack’s wife, Isobel, commented:

“Thank you to the team at Kinnaird Manor for organising this party, Jack is a very lucky man to have so many kind people caring for him.”

Resident Betty commented:

“It’s great that Jack has been recognised for all of his efforts and dedication.”

Glynis Crossley, Home Manager at Kinnaird Manor, commented:

“I want to thank Jack for his hard work; everyone is looking forward to seeing what is produced from the green house next summer.”
