Celebrating St Patrick’s Day at St James’ ParkAmidst Irish music, singing and talk of Irish Folklore, Residents at St James Park care home, in Bridport, Dorset, enjoyed visits from Colleagues dressed as Leprechauns and Irish National Costume for St Patrick’s Day.

On 17th March, Colleagues at the 31-beds residential and nursing care home put in the extra effort to sport the colours of Ireland and made sure Residents had a good laugh. There was also an Irish themed quiz and Residents did their exercises to Irish music.

All residents said they enjoyed their fun packed day. Joan, who lives at the home, said “I really enjoyed that!” and fellow Resident Phil enjoyed posing for photos.

Mihaela Barbulescu, Home Manager, remarked, “We all had a really nice time making things and talking to each other about how we have celebrated St Patrick's Say in the past.”
“Our Residents love themed days and were so excited in the run-up to St Patrick’s Day too.”
