Residents of Cedar House Care Home enjoyed a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day celebration filled with Irish-themed fun, games, and live entertainment.
The festivities were made extra special by a visit from the wonderful team at St. Mary’s Church, who organised an afternoon of Irish music, quizzes, storytelling, poetry, and engaging entertainment for our residents.
The highlight of the day, however, was a special performance by Irish entertainer Tony Warren. He delighted everyone with a lively Irish singalong and live fiddle playing, bringing joy and energy to the celebration. His performance was a huge hit, with residents clapping, singing, and fully embracing the festive spirit.
Resident Eileen shared her excitement, saying,
“I think he was absolutely brilliant! I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
Samantha, our Wellbeing Coordinator, was equally pleased, adding,
“I was delighted with how much the residents enjoyed the live fiddle playing.”
