Residents at Willow Brook care home in Carlton, Nottingham had a flipping good time as they celebrated Pancake Day.
Also known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day takes place on the day before Ash Wednesday. It occurs between February 2 and March 9, depending on the date of Easter.
Once the tasty sweet treats had been prepared by the kitchen team at Willow Brook, Residents chose from the selection of pancake toppings, including golden syrup, chocolate spread and the traditional option of lemon and sugar.
The pancakes certainly went down a treat, as one Resident commented: “I enjoyed tucking in to my pancakes, I loved them!”
