Willow Brook care home in Carlton, Nottingham was delighted to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day with Colleagues, Residents and Relatives at the home.
Colleagues discussed kind ideas with Residents, before everyone decided to make something for children at the local children’s hospital in Nottingham.
Creativity was flowing as Residents created handmade cards for the children, many of which featured different children’s TV characters including Frozen’s Olaf the snowman, minions and Peppa Pig.
As they got to work on colouring in the cartoons, Residents shared memories of famous children’s characters from when they were growing up.
Vera, a Resident at Willow Brook, said: “It’s a lovely thing to do. I’m so pleased I could help and be a part of it.”
