On the day, the team at Lothian House and Residents Eva Cant, Sylvia Ballentyne, Bob Oversby, Margaret Flemming, Molly Steed and Deanne Baker went along to Shotton Airfield to watch Chelsea and other members of “Team Solan” carry out their tandem parachute jump.

It was a beautiful Autumnal day and the sun even made an appearance for the event.

Residents watched in anticipation for Chelsea to jump and were relieved when she landed on the ground with her partner, commenting “Chelsea is so brave”, “it was amazing to watch all of the parachutists floating to the ground” and “it’s so kind of her to raise money for the Solan Trust.”

Lothian House’s Home Manager, Jill Carr commented:

“Chelsea has made a huge contribution not only to the Solan Trust but also to the homes Resident fund.

It was a fabulous afternoon and we’re so proud of her.”
