Colleagues at HC-One’s Wombwell Hall care home were praised recently as the home held its annual ‘Carer of the year’ awards.
Residents each nominated the candidates on each unit of the home, for the winner to receive a trophy, certificate and a small gift
An awards ceremony was held as Area Director Jonathan Catterwell handed out the awards to each winning Colleague. An afternoon tea was then enjoyed by all after the event, complete with home made cakes and a variety refreshments.
Jonathan, Area Director, remarked: “Today has gone so well and I’ve really enjoyed being involved.”
Cathrine Veerigadu, Home Manager, also commented:”It was such an enjoyable afternoon and I am extremely proud of my Colleagues and their dedication to the Residents.”
