Care Inspectorate gives second glowing report to Glenrothes care home in 2019Balfarg care home in Glenrothes, Fife – part of HC-One, the kind care company – is celebrating having received its second positive report after inspections by the Care Inspectorate (CI) during 2019.

Balfarg was inspected in March 2019 and again in December 2019, with both reports rating the home as ‘Very Good’ in ‘How well do we support people’s wellbeing?’ and ‘Good’ in ‘How well is our care and support planned?’, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents.

The inspectors have been full of praise for the team at Balfarg, highlighting the warm and caring interactions between staff and Residents.

This sentiment was echoed with a host of comments noted in the report from Residents, Relatives and visitors, including "I feel safe and well cared for. I get on well with all the staff. The manager and administrator are so supportive" and "We are extremely happy with the care and support, we are informed of any particular problems and regularly discuss her care".

Located on Kilmichael Road, Balfarg offers short and long term care packages for older people needing residential, nursing and dementia care. The home also boasts a 9.7/10 average rating on carehome.co.uk, the sector’s leading care home comparison website.
