Residents from HC-One's Silverwood Care Home have recently spent the day reminiscing as the home hosted a special vintage day.
The home welcomed Jayne Darling in to perform songs for the Residents while they enjoyed a 1940's style afternoon tea.
Members of the care team joined in the fun, with many dressing in clothing from the 40's 50's and 60's.
Residents lit up as they remembered familiar songs and chatted about what the world was like as they grew up.
Debra Maynell, home manager commented:
"It's great to see our Residents having such a lovely time and singing away to familiar songs. Reminiscence events like these are so important and we look forward to our next one."
