Care home Residents raise money for Alzheimer’sResidents and staff at HC-One’s Primrose House worked together to help raise vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society by joining in with the National “Cupcake Day”.

The Residents and members of the care team held a cup cake sale order to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. The event raised an impressive £100.00 from the sale of their delicious treats!

Home Manager, Alison Brown arranged the fundraiser in the home and invited Residents, relatives and members of the local community, so that they could come and join in the fun as part of the Alzheimer’s Society annual cupcake day which was held on the 14th June 2018.

Home Manager, Alison said:

“It was very successful so we’ve taken the decision to do this on an annual basis. It was a great team effort by everyone and it was great to see all the guests enjoying themselves so much. The £100.00 raised has been donated to Alzheimer’s Society – dementia is something we witness on a daily basis so it’s always nice to be able to support such a worthy cause”.
