HC-One’s Meadow Bank House in Botlon, welcomed the local community to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day in style on 21st April.
The family of HC-One homes across the UK took part in activities throughout the day, with Meadow Bank House hosting a 1950’s festivity, based on the 1950’s American diner theme. Residents and staff dressed to the part and were joined by entertainer, Gary’s Swing Easy who performed a medley of songs from Elvis Presley to the Beach Boys. Residents, staff and visitors were able to enjoy an array of games including ‘pie face’ which brought much laughter to all those that attended.

“Thank you to all who came to take part in Care Home Open Day with us. We all had a wonderful time sitting and chatting with our neighbours and playing games and listening to the entertainment. Everyone had a great fun-filled day”.
