Care Home Open Day at Clarendon Hall
HC-One’s Clarendon Hall in Grimsby, welcomed the local community to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day in style on 21st April.

All the Residents and their families all joined together with colleagues from the home to have a singalong, to ‘you are my sunshine’.

It was brilliant morning with Residents playing all kinds of instruments and singing their hearts out and they have now decided to make a Clarendon Hall Choir.

Singer Mick Winn came in the afternoon to Entertain the Residents and their families, visitors and home colleagues with music from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s.

Half way through the afternoon the raffle was drawn and there was lots of prizes to be given out.

The day was finished with buffet tea alongside a BBQ with lovely burgers, hotdogs, sausages, veggie burgers cooking away on the BBQ.

At the end of the afternoon home manager Nicola Walker gave a speech and we had a special cake made for the NCOD all in HC-Ones colours. This was cut and everybody enjoyed having a piece of cake.

Clarendon Hall home manager, Nicola Walker said:

All I can say is what a brilliant day! Everyone enjoyed themselves, everyone commented on the entertainment, food, BBQ and especially the cake. I would like to thank all the HC-One care Colleagues, Residents, families and visitors for their help in making the day so special for everyone!”
