HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home in Cradley Heath celebrated the Alzheimer’s Society’s national Cupcake Day on Thursday 14th June.
A variety of delicious and beautifully decorated cupcakes were baked and sold to Residents, staff and visitors at Roxburgh House to raise money which goes towards helping Alzheimer’s Society find new treatments and ultimately discover a cure for dementia.
The home also hosted a variety of activities including a tombola, raffle and ‘Guess the Flavour’ cake game.
Roxburgh House Home Manager, Julie Jones said:
“It was great to raise money to support the fantastic work of the Alzheimer’s Society, everyone had a lovely time and the cakes were very tasty.”
