As parts of the country enjoyed the warmest July in many years, Residents at HC-One’s Sabourn Court took the opportunity to bask in the sunshine and enjoyed their annual summer fete.
Residents, colleagues, friends, family and visitors were able to enjoy an array of activities including raffles, a tombola, wine and craft stalls and inflatables for the children. There was plenty of food and drink on offer along with live entertainment.
The home raised a whopping £236.80 for the Residents fund!
Lisa Lindley-Jones, Home Manager, at HC-One’s Sabourn Court commented:
“The summer fete is a great way of bringing communities together and our Residents love the opportunity to meet new people and have some fun. There was some great team spirit to get the day organised, lovely to see so many staff’s families attend an event at the home.”
Sabourn Court is located in Oakwood Grove and offers short and long-term care to elderly members of the community needing Residential and Nursing care.
