As parts of the country enjoyed the warmest July in many years, Residents at HC-One’s Willow Court took the opportunity to bask in the sunshine and enjoyed their annual summer fete.
Residents, colleagues, friends, family and visitors were able to enjoy an array of activities including raffles, a clothing sale and plenty of food and drink. There was live entertainment and the home raised a whopping £766.89 for the Residents fund!
Jo Keenan, Home Manager, at HC-One’s Willow Court commented:
“The summer fete is a great way of bringing communities together and our Residents love the opportunity to meet new people and have some fun. We raised an incredible amount of money for the Residents fund which will be used to give our Residents the kindest possible care.”
Willow Court is located in Croft Lane and offers short and long-term care to elderly members of the community needing Residential, Nursing and Residential Dementia Care.
Willow Brook is dedicated to the wellbeing of residents and encourages them to take an active role in home life. HC-One works closely with residents and their families to put on a host of activities that suits Resident’s hobbies and interests.
