Care assistant receives Kindness in Care Award from Resident at Mansfield care homeA care assistant at HC-One’s Berry Hill Park care home in Mansfield was delighted to receive a Kindness in Care Award after being nominated by a Resident living at the home.

Jean Lowe, a much-loved Resident at Berry Hill Park, nominated Care Assistant Hayley Ward for a Kindness in Care Award for her kind and caring nature.

As she made her nomination, Jean said: “Hayley has always been very caring and reliable. She has offered her understanding and support to me in a way that was invaluable.”

Jean was delighted to personally present Hayley with her certificate in recognition of her kindness and hard work.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013.  It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.

Month on month, record-breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.

Berry Hill Park Home Manager, Sally Tebbett said: “At HC-One, we ensure that our teams go the extra mile for each and every Resident and their loved ones.

“Hayley is such a fantastic member of our team and cares about Resident wellbeing first and foremost, so it was a true pleasure to reward her with this Kindness in Care Award.”

Located on Berry Hill Lane, Berry Hill Park offers short and long term care packages for older members of the community needing residential, nursing and dementia care.
