Abermill care home in Caerphilly was overjoyed to receive a £100 donation from the Royal Regiment of Wales.
Veterans from the regiment have kindly completed a number of fundraising activities to show their support for the local community.
The regiment consequently presented a cheque to the home, with the money going towards the Residents’ comfort fund.
Residents were delighted to meet John and David from the regiment, as those living at Abermill with a military background enjoyed discussing life in the armed forces.
Christine Tipper, Home Manager at Abermill, said: “We are extremely grateful to the Royal Regiment of Wales for the kind donation to our Residents’ Fund, which helps enhance the wellbeing of those living in our home.”
