Ben Martin of BW Entertainment came to White Gables Care home to serenade the Residents with a selection of songs from the 1950's and 1960's.
With just the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar, he sang old favourites such as Daydream Believer, Return to Sender, Jail House Rock, I’m a Believer and Dream a Little Dream of me.
It was a relaxing gentle hour of toe tapping and singing along. Resident Peter particularly liked "I’m a Believer" as he sang at full volume through the whole song.
There were one or two upbeat numbers that saw a handful of people on their feet for a little dance. It was a very pleasant morning’s entertainment for all.
Resident Betty Cownie thanked Ben by saying:
“Thank you that was lovely, you have a very nice voice!”
