There has been lots going on this week at HC-One’s Brooklands Care Home.
Whilst the sun shone and the birds sang some of the lovely Ladies from upstairs and downstairs got together to make decorations for the homes “Indoor outdoor” room.
Upcycling flowers from the royal wedding fascinators, the ladies made decorations and paper chains. Lots of chatting and laughter was heard around the home as the Residents talked about the olden days whilst enjoying some tea and biscuits.
The home had also found out that Resident Phyllis Brunning had an old friend staying on Respite upstairs. The home arranged for Phyllis and Margaret to have a lovely lunch together in Margaret’s room where they enjoyed a chat and a good catch up!
