HC-One’s Chaseview care home in Burntwood, were delighted to welcome representatives from Lollipop ponies, as they brought along a few of the ponies to see Residents.
Each of the Residents enjoyed engaging with the ponies, as they gave each one fo them a stroke, speaking to the handlers about the ponies and what their favourite habits are.
Residents enjoy receiving regular visits such as this, as animal therapy can increase their wellbeing and act as a mood booster.
One Resident enjoyed it so much, as they remarked: “I enjoyed being able to touch the ponies, it was such a interesting sensory experience being able to feel the different textures.”
