Kath Twyman, an 88 year old Resident at HC-One’s Chaseview care home in Burntwood received a letter from a very special person in January.
Kath has always enjoyed writing to famous people, in the past she has written to and received responses from many celebrities including Bradley Walsh, Jeremy Kyle and Paul O’Grady.
Having always been a fan of the Royal Family, especially The Queen, Kath decided to write a letter to send her best wishes and see how the Royal Family are doing. Kath was delighted when she received a response from The Queen, thanking her for her letter.
It was such a touching moment for Kath, who commented that it was lovely that The Queen, who is a very busy lady, took the time to write to her. Kath is now busy writing a letter to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to congratulate them on the recent nuptials and their baby which is due in April.
