Celebrations were in order at HC-One’s Old Gates care home, as the home enjoyed a Burns Night celebration with Residents and Relatives.
A variety of Scottish food was placed as a buffet in the home, whilst traditional music played in the background, before the home welcomed a traditional bagpiper to perform various Scottish themed songs for Residents in the home.
All Residents enjoyed joining in with the afternoon, even those who don’t usually like to take part in activities within the home.
Helen Holden, home manager, commented: “These activities are always special for Residents, and it’s wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying themselves."
