Burns Night celebrations at Crieff care homeResidents, friends, family and member of the care team at HC-One’s The Birches care home in Crieff, Perthshire celebrated Burns Night on Friday 25th January.

Burns Night, is a celebration of the life of the bard Robert Burns, born 25th January 1759. The day also commemorates Burns' contribution to Scottish culture, including his best known work, Auld Lang Syne.

Home Administrator, Ross Milne addressed the haggis wearing a traditional Scottish kilt before everyone sat down for a delicious meal, afterwards, a local Clarsach group performed which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Several members of the care team were also celebrated, as they received their Long Service awards. 

Residents commented on what a wonderful day they had and how much they enjoyed the meal and addressing of the haggis.
