Burns Night celebrations were in full swing at Beaconsfield Court in Barnard Castle as Residents enjoyed a host of traditional Scottish activities.
The Scottish entertainment included a performance from piper John Atkinson Milmoor, who was given a round of applause by Residents after they really enjoyed the show.
Residents then joined together for a traditional Burns supper, including haggis, neeps and tatties.
One Resident commented: “The piper was absolutely brilliant, it was great to hear him play.”
Laura Langridge, Home Manager at Beaconsfield Court, said: “At HC-One, we strive to celebrate a range of different cultural events with exciting activities. Everyone really enjoyed Burns Night at the home, particularly those that were trying the Scottish cuisine for the first time.”
