Residents from Silverwood Care home in Nottingham visited the pet shop with Wellbeing & Maintenance staff to choose four budgies for the new home Aviary.
Residents were excited about getting the new aviary and have been involved in preparations for thier new feathered friends.
Two Residents have had aviary’s previously before coming to Silverwood and they are very happy at being able to take up this hobby again, assisting to care for the birds.
After returning to the Home the birds were released into the aviary and it is fantastic to see how much Residents and their families are enjoying this new addition to Silverwood.
