Brookdale View Residents take a walk on the wild side with Zoolab visitResidents at Brookdale View care home in Manchester were delighted to welcome a number of special guests to the home as Zoolab paid a visit.

During the visit, which is one of the Residents’ favourite activities, everyone got the opportunity to meet the animals, which included snakes, snails, rats, frogs, millipedes and other giant insects.

Some of the Residents even plucked up the courage to stoke or hold some of the animals, with others observing how the animals moved and what they felt like.

One Resident commented: “I really look forward to having the Zoolab animals visit the home. It’s such an extraordinary experience.”

John Fullen, Wellbeing Coordinator at Brookdale View, said: “It’s fantastic to see the Residents enjoying themselves during the various activities we have on offer at Brookdale View. They were all really brave during the Zoolab visit.”
