Brookdale Residents Visit the Trafford Centre
Brookdale Residents and colleagues took an afternoon out to visit a local favourite - The Trafford Centre.

After a short ride in the homes own Minibus (Little Betsy as she is fondly named), Residents were in high spirits as they browsed their favourite shops. They particularly enjoyed smelling some familiar fragrances in the beauty shops.

Then to infinity and beyond with a game of Laser Quest, chosen by Resident Derek who was the champion with an impressive score over 250+.

After all the fun of the game Residents settled down with a nice cool milkshake and some food at firm favourite TGI Fridays.

There was much fun had by all throughout the day with Residents asking to go again soon.

The homes wellbeing co-ordinator John Fullen said

“At HC One we always want our Residents to try new experiences as well as keep favourites activities on the agendas giving as much variety as possible. This trip was a good example of doing that.”

Home Manager, Laura Riley Commented:

“I enjoy seeing our Residents in different environments and getting back out into the community and it’s good to see our Residents asking to try new experiences. Trips like this are just another way we can continue to provide the kindest possible care.”
