Helena Gore, a 97-year-old resident at HC-One's Pytchley Court Care Home in Brixworth, Northampton, was treated to a VIP experience at Michael Ball and Alfie Boe’s O2 Arena concert in London on April 13.
Accompanied by her son-in-law Lance Patterson, Helena enjoyed premier seating, exclusive amenities, and a night of musical entertainment.
Helena and Lance were both transported to London on the care home's minibus, where they were then escorted to a private room at the venue.
As a distinguished VIP guest, Helena enjoyed complimentary food and drinks throughout the performance by the beloved British musical duo.
After the concert, Helena’s joy was evident as she reflected on the experience:
"I had a wonderful time. It is a night to remember but I ate too much pizza!"
This VIP concert experience exemplifies how HC-One's Pytchley Court Care Home continues to offer exceptional opportunities for residents, recognising that memorable experiences contribute significantly to overall wellbeing and quality of life at any age.
Echoing the sentiment, Lance expressed:
"It was a wonderful night, I didn't know what to expect. I enjoyed it thoroughly and it was amazing that Helena was given the opportunity."
