All Residents at HC-Ones the
Rowans residential and residential memory care home, in Coalville, took part in a beach day which was carried out over the last two days.
Wellbeing Coordinators Lesley, Laura and Grace worked tirelessly to ensure the Residents enjoyed a seaside experience from home and this meant a whole selection of different activities to choose from, including, sand and shell Art on canvases, a seaside photo shoot and beach volleyball,
There was also a seaside quiz, a seaside sing-along and ice-creams.
One of the Residents said, “What a seaside experience, it has been great!"
Everyone really enjoyed the sand and shell art and found the photo shoot hilarious. See pictured Residents Jean and Mary who thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
