Colleagues at Hollymere House care home, in Haslington, Cheshire, undertook a Harvest Festival for the Residents, “like the good old days!”
The Residents also enjoyed afternoon tea with the fine china tea set and loved having a singalong with Colleague Przemyslaw Dybowski, who is better known around the home as ‘Mac’.
“We had a good old sing song with the old songs, then Mac (Colleague) played his piano and Colleagues and Residents had a sing-a-long and a dance,” explained Colleague, Kate Rigby who organised the day with other team members Michelle Wooding, Jess Roberts and Magda Labecka.
Home Manager, Alison Brown, commented, “Even during this difficult time, residents are enjoying the entertainment/activities and the staff joining in where possible.”
