HC-One’s White Rose House Care Home in Holmfirth continues to build a good relationship, Netherthong Primary School.
The schoolchildren’s visit has become a very much welcomed monthly activity for both the school children and Residents at White Rose House alike.
The schoolchildren join in fun activities with the Residents and have recently joined in the home’s 2018 Sunflower growing competition.
Approximately six different children attend each visit and the school has commented on how much the children love visiting.
A popular activity for all is balloon tennis which gets everyone laughing and moving.
The children are treated to some homemade chocolate tiffin and cordial before they leave.
