Bridging Communities with Generation GamesResidents at HC-One’s Glanffwrd Care Home have been participating in “Generation Games” over the last few weeks with children from Pencoed Primary School.

The last session was held in the home with special VIP visits from Cllr Philip White and Cllr Huw Davic along with the commissioner for Children in Wales.

Residents and the children played games with parachutes and balloons and enjoyed special “Crafty” workshops with play dough, picture frame making and pizza making!

Everyone also loved the special guest Teisan, a pet therapy dog. Teisan attends the school as their reading dog and for any pupil with 100% attendance; they are allowed to read their favourite book to Teisan.

Both the school and the home are looking forward to continuing with the Generation Games in the future!
