Breast Cancer Awareness at Kings ParkColleagues at Kings Park nursing memory care and residential memory care, in Hurst Cross, have been getting dressed up in pink for awareness to Breast Cancer.

The ‘Make it Pink’ day took place on 22nd October whereby members of the team dressed up in pink, and were entered into a raffle for ‘Best Dressed’, with the price being a family ticket to Hollywood Bowl.

Residents enjoyed a special ‘pink’ afternoon tea with an assortment of drinks and pink themed cakes and doughnuts. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed a treat; especially the patterned plates and cakes.

Michael, who is a Resident, loved the jam tarts.

Lisa Joy, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was lovely to see the Residents enjoying the drinks and gorgeous cakes.”
