Branston Court care home in Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire are celebrating success after Residents and Relatives voted them as one of the Top 20 recommended care homes in the West Midlands in the carehome.co.uk awards 2022.
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, holds its annual Care Home Awards to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. These are based on individual review scores that carehome.co.uk have received from Residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the home.
Branston Court received an overall rating of 10/10 based on independent reviews, in recognition of the high standards of care provided at the home – which provides nursing and dementia services for the local community. The 45-bed home received a CQC ‘Good’ report in September 2020, demonstrating that the home is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The friendly, purpose-built care home, which is located in a peaceful residential community, is one of 221 HC-One care homes across the UK that will benefit from a £54.5m investment refurbishment programme, and forms part of HC-One’s mission to be the UK’s first choice care provider in the communities it serves.

Review from P H (Wife of Resident) published on 10 August 2022, Carehome.co.uk, stated:
“My husband has been in Branston Court for almost 4 years and although he has deteriorated in that time he has always been well looked after and the manager and all her staff should be given much credit for the work they do. Nothing is too much trouble and my husband is non verbal they seem to know what is needed to make him comfortable. As a result of the above, it gives me peace of mind knowing he is in safe hands.”

In total, 24 HC-One homes received awards for being among the Top 20 care homes in their respective regions with two receiving awards for being in the Top 20 Care Homes in the West Midlands of England.
