Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Larchwood care home came together in celebration as fellow Resident, Joan, was turning 102 years of age.
An entertainer stood outside the home, serenading everyone with a selection of favourite tunes as they danced and sang in celebration inside the home. Joan was then presented with a bouquet of flowers, chocolates and a lovely bottle of perfume.
She was also gifted with a card and cake from everyone at the home. The sun shone beautifully for the day and the Residents enjoyed spending time in the garden to embrace the weather.
Home Manager, Jade Smith, commented: “It’s been lovely to see the Residents enjoying themselves for Joan’s birthday. It’s been a while since we could have an entertainer at the home so we have really appreciated it.”
