In the residential lounge at Manchester’s nursing and residential care home,
Chorlton Place, Colleagues and Residents held a bonfire party with foods, drinks, music and glow sticks.
The residents loved the evening, with plenty of singing and dancing whilst enjoying a drink, which Colleagues describe as ‘the highlight of the evening’.
The Residents, including Lorna, Betty, Stanley, Freda, Carole, Helena, Gwen, Arthur and Joe, really enjoyed the colours in the dark and how they lit up the room.
One of the Residents remarked, “I am having a fantastic night, like being at a pub!”
Samantha Clayton, Care Home Manager, commented, “The party was great, it brought everyone together; even Residents that do not normally participate joined in.”
