Residents at HC-One’s Rose Court care home were delighted as they created a Guy Fawkes figure for the local community recently.
The figure was created with the intention to be donated to the local bonfire and firework display in the local area, with several Residents and Colleagues joining in to create it.
Everyone collected old newspapers, and one Resident donated an old shirt, and began making their Guy Fawkes figure, discussing their memories of bonfire night as a child and how they used to celebrate it.
Residents remarked at how much they enjoyed the activity, and that they had not done this since they were children.
Karen Davies, home manager, commented: “Enjoyment was had by all, as everyone worked together to create a Guy Fawkes. A fantastic way to reminisce and we are pleased with the outcome.”
