Residents from HC-One’s The Glen care home in Evercreech, near Shepton Mallet enjoyed an early bonfire night celebration on Thursday 1st November.
Everyone wrapped up warm and headed to the garden where they were joined by visitors and members of the care team. As the bonfire burned Residents enjoyed mulled wine, toasted marshmallows and hot dogs, followed by a firework display with soaring rockets and fountains of sparkles.
Barbara Drake, a Resident at The Glen commented:
“It was incredible, the fireworks were amazing and we were so lucky that the weather held out for us.”
