HC-One’s Woodcross care home were delighted to receive a visit from local organisation, ‘Animal tastics’, as they brought along a variety of animals for Residents to meet.
Sarah, the representative from the organisation, brought along many animals including a rabbit, tortoise, skunk and two snakes, which were each admired by Residents as they listened to many interesting facts about the creatures.
Residents enjoyed being involved with the activity as they asked more questions about the animals before some decided to hold and pet them.
Dawn Attwell, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed welcoming the animals to our home today, so much that they have asked for them to visit again soon.”
