Residents at Fleming Court care home in Newcastle were delighted to receive a surprise visit from Blondie the miniature pony.
Blondie, who visited the home with KL Pony Therapy, visited Residents on all floors for an afternoon of calm cuddles.
One Resident commented: “I loved meeting Blondie. She is beautiful and reminds me of the horses I used to have.”
Julie Baron, Home Manager at Fleming Court, said: “Everyone really enjoyed meeting Blondie as she visited the home. The Residents loved being able to stroke her and find out more about her life, with many commenting on how calming and therapeutic the experience was.”
