Blackburn care home welcomes local schoolchildrenHC-One’s Old Gates care home were delighted to welcome children from the local Crosshill school as they performed for Residents and Colleagues.

The schoolchildren serenaded the home as they sang a variety of Christmas carols, spreading festive cheer throughout the home. The children even took song requests from Residents, as they sang various Bob Marley tracks alongside many other all-time favourites.

Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing along to the music together and look forward to welcoming the school back to the home.

Helen Holden, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed themselves, the school children have got everyone into the festive spirit and one Resident in particular enjoyed it the most as he was also celebrating his 80th birthday on the same day.”
