Old Gates care home Resident, Edna Ball, has just celebrated her 101st birthday.
Colleagues from the home including Natalee Claydon-Yates, Lynne Wallwork and Cathy Drinkwater pulled together a lovely birthday party for her with gifts, flowers, birthday cake and party food for all fellow Residents on Rowan Unit.
"Thank you. This is truly wonderful," Edna had commented after seeing her surprise.
Helen Holden, Home Manager, commented, "It is a pleasure to still be able to make our Resident’s birthday special for them in spite of the current nationwide situation. She loved everything and was very grateful for the surprise."
