Blackburn care home enjoys harvest celebrationsCelebrations were in order at HC-One’s Old Gates care home as Residents and Colleagues recently held their harvest festival in the home.

Children from the local primary school joined Residents in creating harvest crafts and salt dough, which everyone found to be so exciting as they made their own creations.

Everyone chatted amongst one another as they enjoyed a buffet lunch and well-deserved break before continuing their activities together.

Relatives and friends also attended the home for an afternoon of 1950s music alongside tea and cake, which ended the day nicely for all.

Helen Holden, Home Manager, commented : “Such an exciting day was had by all. It was lovely to see the children happily enjoying themselves and engaging with our Residents in the home.”
