HC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland held a fang-tastic Halloween party for Residents, friends, family, team members and the local community.
Halloween is an annual celebration that originated as an ancient Celtic festival where people would wear costumes to scare off ghosts. Since then, it has evolved into a day of fun festivities, including trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving.
Residents were joined by children a local nursery, who all wore their Halloween costumes and made spooky art creations. Everyone also enjoyed some scarily good food and entertainment, some Residents got into the spirit and dressed up for the occasion.
Eden House Home Manager, Emma Wade, said: “All of our Residents were very excited for the day. Halloween is a popular celebration and many of our Residents excitedly told stories of what they used to do at Halloween when they were younger.”
